WCEA Volunteers With the Special Olympics of North Carolina

Western Carolina Eye Associates enjoyed volunteering with the Special Olympics of North Carolina this past weekend in Blowing Rock, NC. The Special Olympic’s Opening Eyes program and WCEA employees provided free vision screenings, glaucoma pressure checks, eye health education and assistance to athletes in need of protective eye wear or even new glasses! Western Carolina Eye Associates loves interacting within our community and we consider it part of our mission to participate in local health fairs and events whenever possible.
