Dr. Daniel Krontz is an accomplished ophthalmic surgeon and has been performing surgery on a wide variety of eye conditions for over 30 years. Dr. Krontz has performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries in the High Country and continues to do so with optimal results.

For your convenience, Dr. Krontz performs cataract and other outpatient surgeries at Watauga Medical Center, Ashe Memorial Hospital and Cannon Memorial Hospital.
