Children are susceptible to a host of vision and eye problems such as injury, infection, nearsightedness, farsightedness, color blindness, just to name a few. Poor school performance is often linked to a child's ability to see clearly. In support of Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month in August, the American Academy of Ophthalmology encourages the public to add a comprehensive eye exam to their child's back to school list.
